Short loop ride along the rive gauche and back through beautiful countryside

Details

Join us for another evening ride! Now is the best time of the year to get out on your bike with the temperature that little bit cooler!

The route we will take is slightly shorter than our previous rides to allow for the earlier sunset.

The ride is a gentle 18km route. We will head out initially along the bike path on the Quai de Cologny towards Vésenaz. At Vésenaz we will veer off east and begin looping round through magnificent countryside and vineyards with great views as we ride through Choulex and head towards the "voie verte". The ride will end at Parc la Grange where we can have a picnic and enjoy the view over the Lake!

You can check out the route here: https://www.komoot.com/tour/253423917

THINGS TO BRING:

Lights if you have them as the sun is often beginning to set when we arrive back into Geneva!

A picnic/some food to enjoy at Parc la Grange

Again as with the last ride for obvious reasons we will have to limit the number of riders so if you intend on coming please sign up! Social distancing will be observed throughout the ride.

The itinerary will be roughly as follows:

17h45: We will meet in Jardin Anglais in front of the Gustave Ador statue. (see the location map in description and search for Buste de Gustave Ador in google maps!)

18h00: We will head out along the Quai de Cologny towards Vésenaz before looping back round into Geneva via beautiful countryside and vineyards.

19h30: Picnic break and relaxation at Parc la Grange!

Looking forward to seeing those of you who could make it on our previous rides and welcoming some new faces! Don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions!
