3 days of hiking, 2 cantons, a leap over the northern ridge of the Alps, and breathtaking landscapes ! Nothing less for this trilogy that takes you on a journey around the impressive Wildhorn.
Waterfalls, a glacier, a labyrinth of white limestone, and emerald-colored lakes await you during this magnificent trek.
On the first day, we head towards the Geltenhütte. From forests to alpine meadows, the path offers breathtaking views of towering waterfalls that will leave you speechless. In the evening, we settle into the hut, facing an equally stunning spectacle of cascades and peaceful meadows.
We set off again the next day for a second day of trails, sometimes grassy, sometimes rocky, sometimes clinging to the mountainside and sometimes spreading out into vast alpine pastures. As we leave the green meadows behind, we feel the northern ridge of the Alps drawing near : the Wildhornhütte is nestled there, in this mineral atmosphere that heralds the high peaks.
The third and final day promises spectacular landscapes to close this trek in style. After a steady climb, we emerge into the vast cirque of the Tungel Glacier, unfolding before us. Well-deserved break to contemplate this spectacle of nature. We then continue on to cross the pass that opens the way over the northern ridge of the Alps into the Valais ; there, facing us, unfolds the immense white rock labyrinth of the limestone lapiaz. One last descent and a few more lakes later, we reach the end of these 3 days of sheer beauty.
