Weekend getaway: meeting the archosaurs

Experience an enriching weekend journey into the depths of Earth's ancient history ! Embark on an exploration to uncover fossilized footprints from the predecessors of dinosaurs and immerse yourself in the narrative of our mountain ranges, spanning from the formation of the Alps to the sculpting of our landscapes.

We retreat for the night in a cozy mountain hut, strategically positioned for an early morning departure to the paleontological site, avoiding the tourist crowds. Here, we are privileged to encounter a remarkable site with a large number of relatively well-preserved Triassic reptile footprints ; a unique opportunity to witness the chronicles of Earth's evolution and the genesis of the Alps.

This hike not only dazzles with its geological riches but also captivates with a splendid array of colors : from the azure blue of the lake to the vibrant green of the meadows, and the contrasting black and ochre hues of the rocks : a living canvas of beauty unfolding before our eyes.
