Full day Advanced Ride

This is a full day ride for advanced riders, and one of the prettiest of the year. You'll start on the shores of Lac Bleu, an hour from Geneva. During the morning you wind your way along the banks of the The Giffre river, a tributary of the Arve until you reach the village of Sixt-fer-à-Cheval, considered one of "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.", one of only 5 in the French alps. You're morning ends with your arrival to Cirque du Fer a Cheval, a natural reserve which in ways resembles Jurassic Park, a horseshoe shaped canyon, lined with around a dozen waterfalls, as the glaciers from the mountains continue to melt. You then sit down to a copious picnic lunch, have a bit of a rest, and then take the horses further into the park, enough to get great views of the back of the canyon, which borders with Switzerland. After taking in this simply beautiful park, you start to make your way back, with opportunities for nice long gallops and several river crossings before returning to the stables at the end of the afternoon.

Note, this is one of the fastest rides of the year, so ONLY advanced riders, who are very comfortable with fast canters are permitted. Don't even think of coming if you have not been riding for years.
