Mental Health Meetup: Who am I beyond my job?
A workshop on professional identity, grief, and transition
Many of us build a strong sense of identity around our roles, missions, or contracts — especially in the humanitarian and international sectors. When those roles change, end, or no longer fit, it can bring unexpected grief, confusion, or a loss of direction.
This women-only meetup offers a reflective space to explore:
- Who am I beyond my professional title?
- What happens when a role ends or shifts?
- How do we navigate identity loss and life transitions?
- What parts of ourselves remain — or emerge — in change?
The session will include a guided reflective exercise and facilitated group discussion. The format will adapt depending on the number of participants, with the intention of creating a calm, respectful, and confidential environment.
This is not group therapy, but it is a space for honest conversation and shared reflection.
