This Sunday we are going to do an easy hike in the Sentier des Toblerones from Bassins down to Gland. This is a point-to-point hike of 12.2 km and a gentle slope down with a negative elevation of 424m. The Toblerone Path owes its name to a line of concrete anti-tank defensive fortifications built during the mobilization in Switzerland between 1939 and 1945. These concrete "toblerones" run for dozens of kilometres from the foot of the Jura to Lake Geneva.
