This Saturday we go in a linear hike From Les Paccots Rosyln to Gruyere.
There might be some snow. Depending on the forecast of this week Light Crampons and walking sticks are to bring if you have some.
We end the hike with a Fondue in the gruyere museum restaurant.

🏔️ HIKE DETAILS

We will meet at Les Paccots Rosalys Bus station at 09:43 and start hiking up through the snow on the back ridge of the Moleson. note that we will end at the Gruyere museum for evening dinner.

Duration: 7 hours (including breaks)
Length: 15.3km
Elevation gain: 900m
Elevation loss : 700m ( we descend a part by cable car.

⚠️ TECHNICAL / PHYSICAL DIFFICULTY

This hike requires a sure foot and contains some exposure on a ridge. You should have have done hikes of more than 1000m elevation and be comfortable on exposure on steep passages.

🥾 TRACTION

Please wear boots with traction and you have to take take Crampons with you to pass at ease ice fields.

🌏 DIRECTIONS

If you come from Geneva:

RE 33 (Martigny PL4) departing Cornavin at 7:39 and arriving in Lausanne at 8h29.
Then, R5 (Direction Palezieux) departing Lausanne 8:40 and arriving in Palezieux at 8u54.
Change to train S50 direction Chatel St Denis arriving at 9h18 to finally change to Bus S492 direction Les Paccots departing at 09h23

If you come from Lausanne:

Join us in the train 8h32 on platform platform 3

For our way back, there are trains back from Gruyere/Bulle we might first go for a Fondue at the end so we will see the exact timing during the day
