Contributing to Scala

And we are back !

After a long break, we feel it is time that we resume the meetups.

We will have the usual agenda, a talk by Adrien Piquerez from the Scala Center followed by an Apéro.

Contributing to Scala

Scala started as a research project and quickly evolved into a mature technology and ecosystem thanks to the combined power of the open-source community and the software industry.

One
of our missions, at the Scala Center, is to guide and support all contributors in developing the future of Scala, in a productive and harmonious way.

In
this session, we will present to you our current projects and roadmap to pursue this goal. We will show you how you can take part in this plan and how you can benefit from it. Whether you are a professional Scala developer, a stakeholder of the Scala industry
or a Scala enthusiast, there are ways to contribute that can benefit you and the entire community.

In
this talk, you will hear about:

• The mission of the Scala Center
• Our short-term vision and roadmap
• The ongoing projects we are working on with the community
• Ways to get involved and contribute to Scala

This is also an opportunity to meet and chat with the Scala Center team.
