Christmas edition

Details

We're excited to invite you to a Christmas edition of the Scala Romandie meetup on December 22nd in Lausanne.

We have two talks scheduled, Jérôme Amiguet will present Scalafix linter rules and code rewrites at work and Guillaume Martres will fill us in on some Secrets of the Scala Type System.

Guillaume is freshly graduated from a PhD at EPFL where he worked on the Scala 3 language and its implementation.

Jérome is a software engineer with a passion for clean code and linting. He did his Master's degree under the supervision of Martin Odersky at EPFL. He is currently working at Leonteq where he is using Scala to improve the back office handling of their structured products. In his free time Jerome enjoys playing bridge, a challenging card game that requires skill, strategy and attention to detail - qualities he also values in his work.

The talks will be followed by an Apéro.

We would like to thank ZF, who are hosting us for this event and the Scala Centre for their help with the organisation.
