What we’re about
Welcome to the Geneva Writers' Group (GWG) community Studio space! Since 1993, the Geneva Writers’ Group has bogether more than 200 English-language writers from some a diversity of countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Our objective is to encourage all forms of creative writing in English and to create a supportive community for both new writers and published authors.
Over the years, GWG activities have included the publication of Offshoots: Writing from Geneva, a biennial anthology; hosting GWG Literary Prizes; coordinating small writing groups; mentoring; free workshops for teenagers; organizing the Geneva Writers’ Conference and the “Meet the Agents” opportunity to pitch your work.
For the 2025-2026 season, the GWG will be hosting a series of both virtual and in-person offerings, including a diversity of workshops and other author and community literary events; writing circles; critique groups; as well as a new slate of dedicated member activities and resources that are currently under development.
