Introduction to lightsaber technique

If you've ever wanted to wield the iconic Jedi (or Sith) weapon, now is your chance.

For those of you who have already joined our previous meetup adventures, this will be a little different, but will still be outdoors.

This is an introduction to lightsaber techniques (as seen, or not) in the Star Wars movies/series'. Sponsored by the Saber Force Academy of Geneva, this session is a taster of what you can and will learn with the first, and currently only, Jedi academy in Switzerland.

The session will focus on partner work and the very very basics of lightsaber simulated combat. This introduction event is the closest to what you would experience if you visited the Saber Force Academy stand during expos and conventions.

- The event will happen outdoors, so please dress appropriately (ie outdoor clothing, think hiking kit) Dress in layers as the more you move the warmer you will get.

- If you have your own lightsaber, feel free to bring it along to use in the session.

The session is limited to 8 participants (unless you are able to bring your own lightsaber) Please be sure you are attending, as last minute cancellation would prevent others from joining the event.
