This new group is for all the sailors in Geneva and all of Switzerland that want to sail on lake Geneva. All levels welcome - beginner or advanced

Our Geneva group is new but it will grow faster.
We are a 200+ group of casual sailors that meet often on lake Zurich many times a week and sail during summer. Now, we plan to do the same. Organize many sailing events on Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
We sail just for fun and to meet people. Its a great way of networking and making new friends.

We have been renting 18-21 foot small sailboats many times this summer via our 200+ member whatspp group.
Costs per person will be decided based on the number of people on boat.
All levels welcome — beginner or experienced!
NOTE: You must be a good swimmer. Small boats can capsize or flip over in the wind. You must be able to stay calm and follow crew instructions.

About me - I sailed in California for many years and ran a California State University Sailing club there. I took many people out in the ocean of Santa Monica Bay. I raced with the top US universities in regattas in San Diego and San Francisco. I also regularly did trapeze sailing in Marina Del Rey.
NOTE - Sailing is a dangerous and an extreme sport. You must be a good swimmer and not afraid of water - lakes or ocean. You are responsible for your own safety. It requires a high level of fitness, athleticism and energy to sail. You are constantly moving around on a sailboat. This sport is only for those that are very active and are not easily stressed under adverse weather conditions. You just remain calm at all time, follow crew instructions and help your crew. You are joining us at your own risk and will not blame the organizers or any members in the group for any incidents or accident. You must have health insurance.

Lake Geneva, Geneva, CHJoin us for sailing or learn to sail on Lake Geneva. We have been renting small 18-21 foot sailboats many times this summer on lake Zurich. Now, we plan to do the same on lake Geneva.
We just created this new sailing group on lake Geneva.
As its a rental, the cost amount will be shared later depending on number of people attending . This is not a free event. Sailing is an expensive and a dangerous sport. This is a rental boat on top of that. Insurance risks are too high which the skipper of the boat handles.
