Jim invites you to join him on this fabulous coastal walk.

CULROSS: is acknowledged as one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland. It is a jewel of a village – a living museum of 17th-century port life. With pretty white-harled houses, steep cobbled streets, market cross, hilltop abbey and a charming ochre-coloured palace complete with stunning reconstructed period garden.
The most complete example of a burgh in the 17th and 18th centuries,

GETTING TO CULROSS
🚌Bus X55 (Stagecoach East Scotland) Leaves Edinburgh Bus Station at 10:40 - arrives Dunfermline Bus Station at 11:41.
Change Bus (24 minute wait)
🚌Bus 8A (The Alloa Bus) leaves Stance 11, Dunfermline Bus Station) at 12:05pm and arrives Culross (opposite the Palace) at 12:31
🚙CAR: Park in the Culross West Car Park (Use postcode KY12 8JL)

RETURNING TO EDINBURGH
🚌Bus: One per hour: at 14:31, 15:31, 16:45 Take one of these buses back to Dunfermline bus station - then transfer to bus X55 for your return to Edinburgh.

DISTANCE: Approx 6 miles (No hills)
ATTIRE: Dress to suit the weather and wear comfy walking shoes/boots.
DOGS: Welcome (May need to be on lead at times)
BREAK: Bring a snack as we'll take a break en route.
