Starting from Costa Coffee in Cameron Toll we will walk around Inch Park and Craigmillar Castle Grounds. This is gentle inclines and is 1 hour 30 mins meetup. It could be muddy in parts so do wear sturdy shoes or boots. Dog owners need to have their dogs on a lead for crossing road to get to Craigmillar Grounds Old Dalkeith Rd. Inch Park is SE of the centre of Edinburgh. Managed by the City of Edinburgh Council, it has a extensive grassed areas with woodland borders and small copses, and is mostly fairly flat. The Braid Burn runs across the northern part – “inch” is the old word for low-lying land near a river. In the middle of the park is Inch House, now a community centre, which dates from the 17th Century.
