Mary invites you to join her on this beautiful coastal walk. You'll start off from Aberlday Community Hall - walk along the shore - cross the picturesque wooden footbridge at Aberlady Bay - walk through the Nature Reserve to Gullane.
ABERLADY BAY NATURE RESERVE:** a beautiful local nature reserve (the first in Britain when declared in 1952) Renowned especially as a bird-watching venue. The total area of the reserve is 582 hectares or 1,439 acres ( mostly sand, mudflats and salt marsh). It's an area of feeding wildfowl and waders, breeding birds and 550 species of plant life have been identified here. There is also a herd of roe deer.
GULLANE POINT:spectacular views over Gullane Bay and the Firth of Forth.
GULLANE:best known for its golf courses, however it also boasts a magnificent sandy beach, numerous shops, pubs, restaurants etc
