Walk takes us through some pleasant woodland and tracks for about 50 minutes and then arrive at the A921. This is a busy road with no pavement so we head up through Dalgety Bay towards Beech Avenue and then towards Brae foot Point with spectacular views of Inchcolm Island and the Bridges.
Bring lunch or snack and plenty of water, we will be stopping for break.
We'll then walk back towards St. Bridget's Kirk, now an abandoned ruin with an ancient graveyard.
There are refreshments at the Ale and Pate in Dalgety Bay. Great views over the water.
Bus will get us back to the railway station or Edinburgh.
From the railway station there are buses and trains half hourly.
