Details
I HAVE NOW ENTERED A POTENTIAL DATE IN 2 WEEKS FOR THIS PLANNED WALK /EXCURSION AND WOULD APPRECIATE COMMENTS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW .
ALTHOUGH I ADVISE THAT IT IS NOT BEST SUITED TO INDEPENDENT TRAVEL BY CAR ,IT IS STILL POSSIBLE AND I THE EVENT THAT WALKERS WISH TO COME BY CAR THEN PLEASE CALL ME DIRECT ON 07803 085 087 TO DISCUSS.
This is a request for feedback based on initial research completed by a few Gentle Jaunt walkers looking to travel further afield on occasions.
This walk due to the costs of attendance and it’s lateral nature is not best suited to car drivers and does suit those in possession of a Scottish Senior Travel Concession Card.
Programme for the trip would be > 909 Edinburgh to Stirling bus from a couple of locations Edinburgh BS>Haymarket>Ratho Station only.
Get off 909 bus at Grangemouth stop > Get on very regular Falkirk buses to Falkirk Football Stadium > Get off at Falkirk Football Stadium which is also the access point to The Kelpies Park > Walk up to the Kelpies visiting the attraction for perhaps 30 minutes > Walk from the Kelpies to the Falkirk Wheel along the Forth and Clyde canal > Return to Falkirk Centre via multiple local buses > Return to Edinburgh via the x 38 Falkirk to Edinburgh bus.
