12.00 meet Tess & Sidra in Dunfermline Bus Station
This is a dog friendly walk.
Townhill Country Park lies just north of Dunfermline in the village of the same name. It is home to the Scottish Water-ski Centre and there is a lovely little café with a terrace overlooking the loch.
Total approx 6 miles, mostly flat, some parts rough underfoot and possibly muddy.
Walk from bus station to Townhill Loch (1 mile, mostly flat, either by roads or fields,weather dependent as field can get waterlogged)
Round Loch (1 mile round)
Cafe stop at Loch.
Then Round Townhill Woods and walk back into Dunfermline (3 miles)
A pub stop at the end if anyone fancies.
X55 Bus back to Edinburgh every 15 mins
