Wed Walk South Queenferry to Ratho Station via Old Rail Line.

PLEASE NOTE IN CASE OF QUERY, THIS WALK IS TO RATHO STATION (close to Edinburgh Airport) AND NOT RATHO VILLAGE.

Hopefully a suitable short Winter Walk starting close to the Forth Estuary on a path that should not be muddy underfoot.
For ease of walkers finding the start, I suggest that we meet at Tesco in SQ where Refreshments and Toilets are available.
To access the start the following buses go to or close to Tesco at S.Q.
From Edinburgh the 43 goes into Tesco and all of the Fife buses go to the stop at the Old Forth Road Bridge which is between 5 to 10 mins walk.
From Livingston, Newbridge and Dunfermline Bus Station then the x51 applies as it follows that route.
For those who want to pay for the convenience of the train then Dalmeny Station is your nearest station and it is again a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Return travel is available via a range of buses however despite Ratho Station being the end location there is no station (blame Mr Beeching !)
