To get to Tesco South Queensferry get the 43 Lothian bus from Edinburgh City Centre or the 71 bus from the Gyle Shopping complex alternatively the express buses from Edinburgh to Fife and return all stop in this area.
The x51 bus from Livingston to Dunfermline via Newbridge also stops at Tesco Car Park.
We will meet at the coffee shop at Tesco in South Queensferry at 11.45 as this Venue provides, heat, coffee and toilets which a number of walkers like before setting off. The actual start is an around 0.5 miles away that we can do by walking or 43 or 71 bus.
The walking surface is a combination of hard and soft surfaces and suitable walking shoes / boots are recommended.
We will go right up to the inside entrance to Hopetoun House however at present the actual house is closed to public entry.
The walk will complete at the Port Edgar entry road close to SQ Police Station and the 43 and 71 run past this stop in both directions.
