Mary invites you to meet at Morningside Station by the clock Thursday February 26 at 11:30 am.

Walk will lead up to the Hermitage Braids then on to the Observation Tower where we will have break for lunch. Walk will continue on to Blackford Pond, then return through Hermitage to Morningside.

  • The Hermitage of Braid, a 130-acre nature reserve running from Comiston to Liberton, is a haven for plants and wildlife.
  • The visitor centre itself is located in the fine 18th-century mansion of Hermitage House, which has a three-bay ashlar front, with corner turrets, mock battlements and, inside, fine plaster-work and fire-places.

Lothian busses 16, 11.
