The original Roslyn Hotel via the Esk Valley to Penicuik.

Peter T invites you to join him on this undulating but not onerous walk that continues further on the Esk River path that we walked a couple of weeks ago , with our Lasswade to Roslyn walk.
Starting outside the Original Roslyn Hotel we will go past Roslyn Chapel and into the Esk River valley past a number of historic sites from the early industrial years when the water power of the Esk River was used to drive factory equipment.
The walk although linear finishes on the main Penicuik road and a return bus to the start is available.
PLEASE WEAR GRIP SOLE SHOES as the path can be slippy if it has been raining.
