Dalkeith Country Park was the home of the Dukes of Buccleuch and has both wooded and open areas to walk through. The North and South Esk flow through the grounds and join together at the east end. There are also several historic buildings, most notably the Palace. The exact route will be decided nearer the time, but we will try and see as many points of interest as possible.

Boots are recommended as some places will be muddy at this time of the year. Clothing to suit the weather. Good place for dogs.
