CARLOPS /ESK VALLEY Circular Walk
Details
This is a picturesque walk that takes in the pretty waterfall at Peggy’s Pool where we will stop for our packed lunch. The walk continues along the Esk River past caves and inscriptions of poetry by the 17th Century Scottish poet Allan Ramsey.
We will return to CARLOPS in time to catch the 15:15 bus back to Edinburgh .
How to get there:
BUS: Take 11:15 101 Houston Bus from the Edinburgh bus station.
CAR: Parking is available in a dedicated, small, free car park located directly opposite the Carlops Village Hall on the A702
MEETING POINT: Allan Ramsey Square in Carlops at 12:15
The walk is approx 5 miles
