Country walk in WATERFALL PARK and Newbattle Abbey

Dalkeith
This is a woodland river walk.
We will meet at the entrance to Waterfall park. We will walk alongside the South Esk river to Newbattle Abbey Adult College.
We will take a 15 min break on the benches next to the Abbey then we will walk back along the other side of the river past side the Newbattle Golf Course and crossing Maiden Bridge.

15 mins break at benches bring a snack and drink as there are no facilities at Newbattle Abbey.

After the walk we will retire to the Buccleuch for refreshments / meal .
