In the context of nature, people must accept, respect and adapt. The recent rains offer an opportunity to experience something more distinctively fun and less mundane. Most trails would be quite muddy or closed. However, a beautiful place such as Cold Spring Creek In Montecito would be very explorable and exciting, by rock hopping, cliff wall climbing, or wading, or a combination. From the trailhead off E Mountain Dr, the creek leads upstream to the beautiful and iconic Tangerine Falls.

I intend to explore this beautiful place at a relaxing pace, take lunch and enjoy the views below Tangerine Falls. After that ascend a steep hillside to the boulder overlook and rock pool above Tangerine Falls.

To get a sense of the adventure, check out this documentary video from my last hike there.
