Presenters

• Eddie Pickle will talk about the upcoming FedGeoDay, where technologists, application experts and program leaders will discuss how they are using open mapping / OSM, open source software and open geospatial science to develop their programs. FedGeoDay is November 3rd at the Department of the Interior Yates Auditorium, and the American Red Cross.
• Dan Joseph will talk about how American Red Cross uses the open source MapSwipe app to engage virtual volunteers in crowdsourcing geospatial data to improve OpenStreetMap. Learn about what the MapSwipe platform can do now and what he thinks it might be able to do in the future.
