The QGIS project is celebrating a major accomplishment: QGIS 3.0 is a huge overhaul and cleanup of this popular Open Source set of tools for map making and geospatial analysis. There are a massive list of new changes (https://goo.gl/11nXX5). The new release represents the efforts of the QGIS contributors, sponsors, and supporters.
Join AvidGeo and Northeastern University to learn about some of the new features and share some stories about how you currently use QGIS. Todd Barr, an instructor at Northeastern, will join us virtually to explore the new features. We will two presentations from QGIS user sharing how they use it, including Northeastern student, Rebecca Greber.
