FREE Social Bike Tour (direction: North)

Every second Saturday of the month, as the owner of Geografiets, I organize a FREE Social Bike Tour in Amsterdam! Every month a different direction, perfect for getting to know the city on your trusty steed and meeting new people! Will you join us?

On the second Saturday of October, we will depart promptly at 10AM from the central station heading NORTH.

That means we'll be cycling through the Amsterdam North district and then heading into the countryside, crossing through the meadows and fields of Landsmeer and Oostzaan. We'll cycle towards 't Twiske via Landsmeer and Den Ilp, where we'll take a break. After our break, we'll cycle back to Amsterdam North via Oostzaan, further exploring this district. Finally, we'll end up at the NDSM terrain, where we can choose to finish the day together and/or take the ferry to Central Station.

Practical information:

• Gathering: from 9:30 onwards
• Starting location: Pier on the north side of Central Station (right next to the ferries).
• Departure: sharp at 10:00
• End: around 16:00
• Distance: 38 kilometers
• Requirements: your own (rented) bike, clothing suitable for the activity and weather conditions, food and drinks for the journey
• Cost: € 0 – but a tip as a token of appreciation for the organization is expected (according to your own means)
• Break: Approximately halfway, we will take a break at a hospitality venue. Here, it is expected that we order at least one drink and leave the food and drinks we brought with us in our bags.
• Responsibility: Participation in this tour is at your own risk. I am not liable for any damages, accidents, or lost items.
