Social Bike Tour (direction: Northwest)

Every second Saturday of the month, as the owner of Geografiets, I organize a FREE Social Bike Tour in Amsterdam!

Every month a different direction, perfect for getting to know the city on your bike and meeting new people! I'm looking forward for you to join!

This time I'll be in Berlin on the second Saturday of May, so I organize this tour one week earlier! So at the 4th of May we will depart at 10AM from the central station heading NORTHWEST.

That means we'll be cycling through [TBA]

Practical information:


• Gathering: from 9:45 onwards

• Starting location: Pier on the north side of Central Station (right next to the ferries).

• Departure: 10:00

• End: around 16:00

• Distance: about 40 kilometers

• Requirements: your own (rented) bike, clothing suitable for the activity and weather conditions, food and drinks for the journey

• Cost: € 0 – but a tip as a token of appreciation for the organization is expected (according to your own means)

• Breaks: We will have plenty little breaks for a short chitchat and to gather up again as a group. Around every 10km we will have a break as well for a sanitary stop and a coffee/tea (and a snack). Approximately halfway we will have a picknick too, so feel free to bring some lunch with you!

• Responsibility: Participation in this tour is at your own risk. I am not liable for any damages, accidents, or lost items.


Some basic rules during the tour:

• Please be aware of your and the others safety.
• It's cool to make pictures and video's but please know that it is prohibited by law. So, if you do, do it smart!
• I'll be in front all times, but feel free to cycle next to me and have a chat :)
