This is a meetup group for those in the DC area who like maps, GIS, OpenStreetMap, cartography and anything in between.
Started in July 2009, this group aims to keep the DC geo enthusiasts connected to each other for learning and socializing and probably some drinking.

GeoDC : FedGeoDay Preview
Sudhouse DC, 1340 U St NW, Washington, DC, USApril’s event will be the FedGeoDay 2026 Preview.
GeoDC’s guest speakers for the evening will be the FedGeoDay Organizers.
We’ll look forward to learning more about the 2026 event (note the new venue!), hear about the hands-on workshops that will be offered on day two AND of course, they’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have prior to your registration for the event.- 6-7pm: Happy Hour / Networking
