As mentioned Thursday evening at the Smyrna meeting, we are taking a field trip to Armuchee DNR to photograph dragonflies tomorrow, Saturday, August 23. We will meet at the Armuchee DNR parking lot at 11:00 am. Tom Wilson will join us. (it is about 1.5 hours from Marietta). We will walk around the lake and ponds.

You go to the left end of the building and take the gravel road back to a parking lot behind the building, almost at Lake Arrowhead.
There are no facilities. Bring water, hat, and bug spray. It will be hot. You can wear long pants or shorts if you have bug spray. You need a 100-400 or 100-500 lens or something similar. A telephoto lens will also work (like a 300 or 400).
