Barnwell State Park Hike

8 November 2025, Saturday, 10:15am. Barnwell State Park Hike, 3 miles This state park was built by the Conservation Corps and has 307 acres worthy of showing some fall foliage. We will take the Dogwood Trail Loop to Fernhill Trail loop hiking 3 miles through wetlands and mixed pine and hardwood forests. Bring hiking shoes or supportive sneakers, water, snack, binoculars if desired. Dogs are allowed on nonretractable leash only. Poop bags are required. Meet at 223 State Park Road, Blackwell SC at 10:15 for a 10:30 departure in the parking lot, bear slight left towards the bathroom facility and swimming area.
