Fork Area Trail System (FATS) Hike, Skinny Loop

11 December 2025, Thursday 9:30am Fork Area Trail System (FATS) Hike. 7 miles, 2.5 mph. We will hike the Skinny loop of FATS in Sumter National Forest. This 7 mile loop follows the contours around ravines through hardwood and pine forests. Dogs are welcome but must be on non-retractable leash and in excellent condition. This trail is rated strenuous because of the distance. Bring hiking shoes, water, snack, bright coats or hunting vests are required. RSVP at
