Details
We will hike the Brown Wave trail in FATS in Sumter National Forest. This moderate to strenuous hike loop will take us through hardwood and pines within view of the Savannah River. This rolling wood trail has partial sun making it perfect for winter hiking. It can be muddy at times. Dogs welcome on nonretractable leash. Dogs must be in excellent condition. Bring a lunch, plenty of water, for you and your dog, poop bags, and good hiking shoes. We will meet at the FATS parking Lot at 10:30 484 Woodlawn Rd, Clarks Hill SC 29821 and then shuttle to the trail head. Wear bright colors or a hunting vest. RSVP at
