Join us for an early evening hike at Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, an urban forest in southwest Atlanta with ecological and historical significance. This outing will focus on the connections between nearby nature and environmental justice, led by local advocates working toward equitable access to green space. We’ll walk the trails, visit the spring, and hear from community leaders about the environmental and social importance of preserving natural areas in communities of color. All experience levels are welcome. All are welcome to attend this event, and veterans, military personnel, and their families will have preference for spots.

People can register on the Sierra Club Georgia Chapter website via the provided link. Military Outdoors Senior Leader Lornett Vestal and Outings Specialist Devin Cowens will host this outing.
