Leisure Stroll, Leita Thompson Park

Leita Thompson Memorial Park Trail is a 2.50 mile loop trail located near Roswell, Georgia that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
This will be a slow, leisurely stroll on a gravel pathway. Please do NOT come if you want to fast hike this loop, as the group with me will be doing less than 2 mph.

Depending on the path we take and the speed of the slowest person, expect this to take 1 1/2 hours. Generally speaking my Fitbit says around 6000 steps on the Red Trail. There are smaller loops and cut-offs, if for some reason you need to take a shorter route back to your vehicle. The trails run thru a hilly wooded area, with a gravel base, although there are washed out areas, it is pretty well maintained.

This is a dog-friendly park, but dogs must be leashed at all times on the trails. There is also a Dog Park, if you wish to play with your pet later.
