THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME THIS POPULAR HIKE IS POSTED!
Please only sign up when you can commit to the hike.
There is plenty of time to think and work around it.
We have hiked this loop several times either clockwise or counter-clockwise. So we are familiar with the trails.
EXPERIENCED HIKERS or ATHLETIC INDIVIDUALS will serve the purpose of this hike very well.
HIKING DISTANCE: 10 miles (maybe 11 miles and you won't worry)
HIKING SPEED: 2.5-2.7 mph (let's say not a fast or super-slow hike and a group speed when hikers are not far apart from each other.
HIKING TIME: 4-6 hours (new group is yet to find out)
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CONVERSATION WITH YOUR TEAMMATES TO DELAY OR EFFECT THIS HIKE. Your new friend/friends may enjoy the sound of nature more than your loud sound.
Fitness in nature and this hike is a given.
Organizers do not work for you. Your appreciation is simply that you follow and listen to your hiking router.
Nobody will be abandoned. Slower hiker, speed up, faster hiker, wait.
Be kind to one another! But do improve your skills if you are super slow or wait for next time when you are fit to join.
