Wattwanderung in Vancouver! (Sherry Island) Saturday May 16th at 10:30 am. PLEASE be on TIME!!!
Come on time ;) and join us with your family and friends for the best mudflat walk at low tide to Sherry Island!
Totally fun and unique experience to see nature and Vancouver like never before! Sherry Island is a tidal island that only appears every once in a while at very low tide. Meeting point will be the picnic tables located next to the last parking lot by the water on Spanish Banks coming from the east. If you drive up into the forest you are too far.

To be fully prepared, remember to bring:

Rubber boots (full length) or other shoes that can get muddy!
Wind breaker and a hat
A towel and spare socks
A water resistant backpack
Water and some food for a small picnic on Sherry Island, no alcohol
Sunglasses and sun screen

Dogs are welcome to join in!

Event will only take place in good visibility conditions (meaning no fog or heavy rain). In case of cancellation I will post a note here.
