Please note that we are now meeting near Villa Medina, and not near Froshberg Gelato as we used to. So please go to the same side of the food court as the elevators and look for me and my "meetup.com" sign.
Free parking is available all day on Saturday and Sundays in the CORE and Holt Renfrew Parkades. The first 3 hours of parking are free and after a $2 flat fee applies.
The Holt Renfrew parkade is located beneath Holt Renfrew on 8th Avenue between 4th Street and 5th Street and is open from 5:30am– 12:00am.
The CORE parkade is located on 4th Street between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue and is open from 5:00am– 12:00am.
$3.00 flat rate parking is also available on Weekends at Barclay Parkade, 615 3rd Street SW, 3rd Street and 6th Avenue (in after 6:00am out by 6:00am)

There is ample parking and the shopping centre is a 10 minute walk from Chinook Station.
Note that the pedestrian bridge over McLeod Trail enters the building on the 2nd level directly into the food court.
There is a big window looking out over the parking lot and McLeod Trail. There are tables and chairs in the space between this window and bucks. I think this area is specific enough that if we go there we will find each other. Also I think it is slightly quieter than the rest of the food court
So we need to make a sharp right when we get off the pedestrian bridge.

I have decided to post these video calls as events because of two things. The second one is the most important, so please read through to the end at least once.

Firstly, I have become aware that many people do not know that we have video calls on Monday nights, in spite of the fact that I mention it in all of my monthly broadcast messages. I have literally had someone say, I wish I had known.

Secondly, and most importantly, In the past, I never know ahead of time how many people will join the video call. This event page will give us a chance to announce that we will join the video call. Human nature being what it is, more people will join if they know you are participating, because you are intelligent and interesting. So, it is very important that we click on Attend, so that the event host and the other members will know that we will participate.

I have tested this on Windows 10, Android, and iOS and it works fine. I have also tested it on Windows XP, and it does NOT work on Windows XP.

The first time you attempt to use it in Android or iOS, you will be redirected to Google Play, or The App Store, to download the FREE Google Meet app. You can do this ahead of time if you prefer.

If you find yourself at a dialogue box that is asking for a meeting code, it is that part of the link after "https∶∕∕meet.google.com/". That is, if the link is https∶∕∕meet.google.com/yyy-yyyy-yyy, it's the yyy-yyyy-yyy part.
