Welcome to the Meetup Group of the German-Canadian Congress in Winnipeg. Are you interested in German culture and/or the German language? Join us to practice your German or participate in German cultural events! We organize a variety of events like
- monthly events with seasonal activities
- a monthly authentic German breakfast featuring foods from local German suppliers
- a film event in fall, featuring a German movie with English subtitles (free of charge)
- a traditional German Christmas Market (Christkindlmarkt) in late November/early December with local artists, German imports, entertainment, and more.

Willkommen bei der Meetup-Gruppe des Deutsch-Kanadischen Kongresses in Winnipeg. Interessierst du dich für die deutsche Kultur und/oder die deutsche Sprache? Komme zu uns, um Deutsch zu üben oder an deutschen Kulturveranstaltungen teilzunehmen! Wir bieten eine Vielzahl von Veranstaltungen an:

Learn about Berlin and fill your own Berliner
German Canadian Congress MB Inc., 81 Garry St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4J9, Canada, Winnipeg, MB, CACome join us as a group of University of Manitoba students present their experience in Germany through the lens of their travel course, and discover one of their favourite stops, Germany's capital city, Berlin! If you missed our Folklorama pavilion with the same theme, now is your chance to stop by and enjoy what Berlin in Winnipeg has to offer. Finally, we will enjoy a staple Berlin treat, Berliners. Thanks to the German consulate in Toronto, the German-Canadian Congress is proud to present its new jam filling machine! We are debuting this special gift by sharing the opportunity with you to fill your very own Berliner donut. This event will have limited space, so please help us by registering online.
