Easter Meetup / Oster-Meetup

For this month's Meetup, we will have a little Easter celebration. In accordance with the Easter theme, we will prepare Hessian "green sauce" with potatoes. In some parts of Germany this is a traditional meal eaten on Holy Thursday. All ingredients will be provided by the German-Canadian Congress.

In Germany, colouring / painting Easter eggs is very popular among children and adults alike. Eggs and colouring kits will be provided. We hope that you will bring along creative ideas.

We are looking forward to a fun evening, as usual with conversations in German and English.

Passend zur Osterzeit werden wir eine hessische grüne Soße mit Kartoffeln zubereiten, deren Saison traditionell am Gründonnerstag beginnt. Die Zutaten hierfür stellt uns der Deutsch-Kanadische Kongress zur Verfügung.

Eine bei Kindern, aber auch Erwachsenen, beliebte Beschäftigung zu Ostern ist das Ostereierfärben bzw. -bemalen. Wir werden Eier und Farben stellen und hoffen, dass ihr kreative Ideen mitbringt.

Ansonsten hoffen wir wie immer auf gute Unterhaltung(en) auf Deutsch und Englisch.
