Welcome to the German Stammtisch in Perth!
We’re thrilled to have you join us! Just a quick note upfront: this isn’t a formal learning group, so we won’t be teaching German from scratch. That said, we welcome all levels of proficiency— what really matters is that you can hold a basic conversation in German. If you ever find yourself stuck, no worries! We can easily switch to English at times, but the aim should be to speak in German.
Are you a native German speaker looking to reconnect with others? Or perhaps you’re learning German and want to practice while meeting new friends? If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to be a part of our group!
We organise regular meetups at pubs and cafes in central Perth. Best of all, everything is free of charge—there are no membership fees, but donations are welcome to keep this group running.
We’re always open to new ideas for meetups, so feel free to share your suggestions. Let’s have a great time together! :-)
