Get Creative, Tallahassee

Get Creative Tallahassee is a group for creative individuals — successful or otherwise — to do their thing with, alongside, or maybe just near other artists and creators. “Parallel play” and all that jazz. Artwork, crafting, writing, poetry, claywork, even musicians (although I admit that might be harder to incorporate) are encouraged to join in. Even if your specialty is origami cranes or burning wood or something weirder, like gouache, you’re in. Whether you’re just trying to find inspiration for your latest sketch or looking to collaborate on a project, this group has a spot for you! I hope to find unique, eclectic events to attend together while still establishing a regular schedule. This group is founded on respect for everybody, so please reach out with any qualms or concerns! This group is woman-led (i.e., me), if that matters. I do artwork (watercolor, oils, ink, pen, and charcoal) as well as poetry, calligraphy, dance, and a little music production, but I don’t view myself as a master by any means. So if you’re worried about judgement, well… don’t.
