Join us for a relaxed and fun city adventure as we visit Pata Zoo, the first and only zoo located inside a shopping mall in Thailand. Opened in 1983, this unique zoo offers a comfortable indoor experience, making it a great activity for animal lovers, families, and anyone looking for an easy and chill weekend plan.
We’ll explore the zoo together, meet various animals, enjoy live shows, take photos, and have a light walk in an air-conditioned space — no heat, no rush, just good vibes 🐾

### 🦍 About Bua Noi
Bua Noi arrived in Thailand from Germany in 1992, when she was around three years old, and has lived at Pata Zoo for over 30 years. In the past, the zoo had more than one gorilla, but today Bua Noi remains the only gorilla in Thailand.
Around that time, Thailand introduced strict regulations to protect endangered species, so no more gorillas have been imported into the country. Due to her long-term care in a managed environment and the absence of natural gorilla habitats in Thailand, long-term professional care in a controlled setting is considered the most suitable option for her wellbeing.
### 🌱 Conservation & Breeding Program
Pata Zoo actively supports breeding and conservation programs for endangered species, and works with other zoos through animal exchange programs for research, education, and species conservation. When suitable natural habitats are available, appropriate animals may be considered for release back into nature under professional guidelines.
