What we’re about
San Diego is such a beautiful city! Let's explore it on our bikes, get some exercise and make some new friends along the way! This group is open to people from all walks of life (race, religion, orientation, gender id, etc.) But there is no agenda and no judgements. Just casual rides around the city!
This group will focus on city streets and the road trails around town, so it's not designed for mountain biking. I use a road bike and we'll be doing mostly easy, flat areas. Beaches, bays, lakes, The Strand, etc. I have a lot of experience in East County and know a few nice rides in that area that I'll be posting. E-Bikes should be ok as long as you keep pace with the group, but no motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, etc.
With that said, I'd love to open it up to a few co-organizers that can lead some mountain biking rides. Also members who can lead events in North County, South County and some morning rides. And please send in suggestions for new routes and rides if there's some places you like!
This group is for adults who are over 18 and no minors should be brought to the events.
