Volunteer Planning Meeting

2025 is off and running. We’ve been able to do some pretty cool things so far; Homeless Connect, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest. More stuff is planned; Family Promise, Growing Neighbors and the UGM Camp Clean-Up. If you have any pics, get them posted please! I will post some.

We have the UGM Camp Clean-Up the following weekend, May 3rd. We already have 18 people signed up and have room for more. We will be discussing this at the meeting. And we are doing "Linda's Supply Drive" for the kiddos this time. Here is their list of needs for summer camp:

• Pajamas
• Bathing Suits
• Closed Toed shoes
• Small Flashlights
• Disposable Hand Warmers - (used by the behavioral specialists)
• Beach towels
• Small blankets like cheap fleece ones at Walmart for $5

All kids sizes and small and medium adult too. Kids playing at summer camp ahead!

I will try to get an agenda our via the distribution list before the meeting.

If you are new, come on along and check us out. Please do review our ground rules. Project ideas come from our group members and we discuss them. We have had a few successes: Embrace Washington, Habitat for Humanity, Homeless Connect, UGM’s summer camp & Second Harvest. Let’s have some more. I do try to keep us on track, it’s easy duty though.
