Utah Big 5 National Park Trip 2023

Available Dates: December 10th to December 17th

Airport Pick up Time:
10:00am Las Vegas - LAS (If you cannot make this time you will need to arrange for your own transportation to Springdale Utah)

Itinerary
Day 1 – Fly into Las Vegas. Pick up time at the airport will be 10:00am. We will take our rental car from the airport to Valley of the Fire State Park. After a brief hike we will Drive to Springdale Utah and Zion National Park. We will get settled in our hotel and maybe do a small hike that evening.

Day 2 – Depending on weather and permit status well either do Angels Landing or The Narrows in Zion National Park. Both are on the top 50 hikes to do in the United States. (Rental equipment for the Narrows can be purchased the night before at your expense). Hiking 5-8 miles

1. Breakfast at the Hotel Included

Day 3 – This morning we will do one of the prettiest hikes in Zion National Park to Observation Point. After our hike we will make the drive over to Bryce National Park and hopefully catch a sunset at Inspiration Point before checking into our hotel.

Day 4 – Today we get up early and catch a sunrise over the valley then hiking the beautiful Navajo Loop and Peek-a-boo trails In Bryce National Park, 7-9 miles of hiking.

Day 5 – After Breakfast we will get on the road toward Capitol Reef National Park. We will make a stop in Escalante for some beautiful views before getting in an afternoon hike in Capital Reef. We will also get in a quick stop in Goblin Valley State Park before making our way over to Moab and checking into our hotel. 3-6 miles of hiking

Day 6 – Today we will get up before the sunrise and make it over Canyonlands National Park to one of my favorite places to catch a sunrise that I have found yet. We will have a ½ mile hike to the location wear we will see the sunrise. After we leave there, we will get to stop at the stunning Dead Horse State Park. After catching in some wonderful views, we will head over to Arches National Park. 5-7 miles of hiking

Day 7 – This morning we will get to hike on of the most photographed arches in America. We will spend the morning again in Arches National Park before leaving to head out to Salt Lake City. 5-7 miles of hiking

Day 8 – Sadly our trip has come to an end, and it is time to catch our flights home. We should arrive at the airport by 11:00 AM. Please make sure your flight leaves after one PM. Please note we are flying home from Salt Lake City (SLC) not Las Vegas!

Price: $1,495.00 per person based on 9 attendees. Price includes Transportation, Fuel, Lodging (Based on shared room), Permits, guide service, Park Entry, and meals listed above.

Deposits:
50% Down holds your spot = $747.50
90 days from trip start date balance due = $1495.00 – minus 50% deposit = $747.50
A late fee of 8% will be added to any invoice that is more than 30 days late. If paying via PayPal there will be a 3% service charge
*Hiking locations and distances may change due to current conditions from weather, wildlife, etc
