Join us for a relaxed walk along the beautiful Nidderdale Greenway, starting in Harrogate and heading out to the historic village of Ripley. This scenic route takes us through open countryside, woodland, and over the impressive Grade II listed viaduct – perfect for a weekend stroll and a bit of fresh air!
📍 Meeting Point:
We’ll meet at Starbucks Coffee, Cambridge Street, Harrogate (HG1 1RX). Please aim to arrive in good time, as we’ll be setting off promptly at 11:00am.
🚆 Getting There:
- By Train: Harrogate Station is just a short 5-minute walk from the meeting point. There are regular services from Leeds and York.
- By Bus: Harrogate Bus Station is also close by, with frequent services from Leeds, Knaresborough, Ripon, and surrounding areas.
- By Car: Long stay parking is available at Victoria Car Park at the Victoria Shopping Centre (details here). From there it’s only a few minutes’ walk to Starbucks.
Whether you’re local or coming in from further afield, it’s easy to get to our meeting spot.
🕒 Walk Details:
The walk to Ripley is about 4 miles (around 1.5–2 hours at a steady pace). Once in Ripley, we can stop for refreshments before making our way back.
