Herbie Flowers began his career in the Royal Air Force before becoming one of London’s most sought-after session bassists. Renowned for his versatility, Herbie played on iconic tracks like Lou Reed’s “Walk on the Wild Side,” David Bowie’s Space Oddity, and Harry Nilsson’s “Without You.” He worked with legends including Elton John, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison, and was a founding member of Blue Mink and Sky.
This tribute by The Brighton Beach Boys—Steve Wrigley, Glen Richardson, Adrian Marshall, Vinnie Lammi, and Charlotte Glasson—celebrates Herbie’s remarkable career through the songs that defined a generation.
